lyrics

My darling when you read this, I'll be long gone
But I have loved you all this time.
Please tell the children who I was,
And what I left behind.

I have left you some money, in an envelope
It's all that I could save.
It isn't much, but it is enough,
For food and clothes my love.
Tell them how we loved,
And ask them to do the same.
Give them a kiss on their foreheads
And tell them it'll be okay.

Put all my possessions in a wooden box.
Scatter my ashes at sea.
You can cry all you want, my darling love,
But don't feel sorry for me.

Put all my possessions in a wooden box.
Scatter my ashes at sea.
You can cry all you want, my darling love,
But don't feel sorry for me.

No don't feel sorry for me.

about

Drunken Dolly Rotterdam, The Netherlands

Drunken Dolly started in 2004, inspired by bands
like “Dropkick Murphy's” and “Flogging Molly”.
through the years, the band managed to create
an cocky mix of punk and folk..
On their ep “Drunken Dolly and the
Drunken Man's Curse” you can hear the
raw sound of Rancid and NoFX, cheered up with a
hint of The Pogues and Dubliners. Add some Beach Boys style harmonic vocals and that's Drunken
Dolly.
